| Summer Rep prepares herself
in Zimbabwe for the work as a Summer Representative of
HRCM |
A desire of HRCM is
to help individuals and collage students who have a passion for
missions to fulfill their calling. We understand
that most people who are called to serve the Lord as missionaries
often lack practical experience.
The HRC Summer Rep. Program offers the opportunity for practical
experience in the following areas;
- Working with churches, Ministers,
Mission teams, and Church leadership.
- Developing their speaking
skills so that they can effectively share the direction
the Lord has placed upon their hearts.
- To experience the
dynamics of fund raising.
Summer Repres will gain valuable
experience and will have the opportunity to meet and develop
lasting friendships
with hundreds of people. They will work with Ministers,
VBS directors, Mission
Teams, Camp Deans, and Church Leaders These relationships
and experiences will prove to be extremely important when
one chooses
to become a
vocational missionary.
Only individuals who have completed
at least a three week visit to Zimbabwe working underneath
Mark and Helen Begarly
and the Zimbabwe
staff are eligible to be chosen to serve as a Summer Rep.
Each Rep will work between 6-10 weeks serving as a HRCM
Rep. for VBS programs,
Camp programs, Church worship, and other areas as needed.
Salaries and benefits will be deferent from person to person
and year to year.
Individuals are encouraged to use their gifts as they serve
as Reps. Those with musical, speaking, artistic theatrical
and athletic ability will be able to use these gifts as
they travel and represent
HRCM.
Summer Reps are chosen by Mark and Helen Begarly and
Michael Boschert based upon their individual performance
while on the
field in Zimbabwe and interviews directed by Michael Boschert.
