God has made possible a unique avenue of ministry through the private school, Lomagundi College Primary, in Chinhoyi. Helen teaches Grades Zero through Five each Tuesday. Each of the 7 classes gets a thirty minute scripture class.

Boarding at school.

Lomagundi is a boarding school. Children can become boarders in Grade 1. As a boarder the child goes home for the weekend. If the family goes to church most churches don't have Sunday School classes so we provide it each Tuesday. What a blessing to teach the scriptures in the class room and to be able to touch 150 students a week for the our Lord.

Flannel graph lessons.

This is the one ministry we cannot train a national to take over. The school asked Helen to take this position and each time we come back to the States we have to find a replacement and ask the school if they will allow that person to fill in.

The Armor of God.

Grades 0-2 are taught from Creation through the New Testament with flannel graph. Grade 3’s curriculum is the Lords Prayer, Armor of God and the 10 Commandments. For Grades 4 & 5 crossword puzzles, word searches and other activities are used to review all the Old and New Testament Bible stories.
